Finally The Sun delves into the intricate dynamics of queer relationships, challenging stereotypes and societal expectations. Through layers of distortion and erasure, the artwork reflects a self-reflexive exploration of queerness, sex, and identity. Collaborating with my partner, a horror writer, they offer further investigation into the complexities and contradictions of queer relationships. The video piece where my partner responds to my photographs with poems, adds another layer to our exploration of queer love, connection, vulnerability, intimacy, fears, and desires. Together, we've crafted a body of work contributing to a broader cultural conversation, celebrating the diverse experiences of queer individuals.
